
University Student Life
University life is full of exciting changes and new experiences. It is a time when freedom, independence and choice are often more plentiful than ever before. It can also be a time of stress, anxiety, confusion and overwhelm. Figuring out how to manage daily life far from home, meet the academic demands of university courses, adjust to roommate living and navigate so many new relationships can sometimes make students feel like it’s all just too much to handle alone.
I work at Bocconi University as a Student Counselor within the Campus Life: Counseling, Self-Empowerment & Well-being department, counseling international students ranging from first year Bachelors through seasoned PhD candidates, to help them better cope with the stresses and challenges of university life, as well as the various cultural adjustments and adaptation process to life in Milan. I also collaborate with IES Milan Study Abroad, providing counseling support to undergraduate students from a wide range of universities in the United States during their study abroad exchange in Milan.
